Current Position:

This is my first year at High Island ISD.

I am the Athletic Director and Discipline Coordinator.  I will also be teaching Government/Economics 1st period. 

COACHING DUTIES: Defensive Coordinator Football, Head Girls Basketball and Head Track.

Previous Position:

I came to High Island from Cayuga ISD where I was the Head Girls Basketball/Track Coach and I taught Gov/Econ.  I am starting my 23rd year in education in which I have taught 7th grade Math, Social Studies and Technology. I have also been a Head Coach of Volleyball (3yrs), Track (12yrs), Softball (2yrs), Cross-Country (11yrs) and Basketball (16yrs).

 

Family Information:

I have been married for 20yrs to Amanda Jackson (Counselor) and we have a son Nate that will be entering the 8th grade. 

Personal Information:

My family and I love to travel and we usually spend our summers traveling around the US in our fifth wheel.  Our favorite palce is Creede Colorado where we enjoy being outdoors.  Creede is where I discovered Fly-Fishing and it is something that I am very passionate about and love doing when ever the oppurtunity presents itself.
