Hello, I am a Texas A&M graduate. I obtained my bachelors in 1999 and my masters in Educational Psychology in 2009 both from Texas A&M. Later, I went back to get my Superintendent certification from University of Texas at Arlington in 2014.
I began teaching in 1999 and now I am starting my 20th year in education. I was a classroom teacher and coach for 12 years, and beginning my 8th year as an administrator. This will be my second year in the High Island ISD as the Superintendent.
I am married with two children. My wife has taught for 26 years. I have a daughter that is in the honors program at Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. My son is an 8th grader here at High Island ISD. We absolutely love the community and the school!
My hobbies include hunting and fishing and anything outdoors.
