I continue to stay current with educational trends and new ideas through attending conferences, webinars, and seminars.
I am married to my husband, John and am blessed to have 2 children and 1 granddaughter. My son is serving our country in the Navy and he and his wife live in California. My daughter and her family live close, which is wonderful because I get to be with my granddaughter a lot!!!! I have a cat named Rue who is the boss of our house!
Welcome Cardinals to my page! I love being a teacher at High Island School! I graduated from the University of Houston and I have 25 years experience teaching Kindergarten through 6th grade, all subjects, as well as having worked as the director of a preschool. I have been a child development trainer for Child Advocates, Inc. in Houston and for FASD through The Texas Office of Disabilites for Children. I am also endorsed as an Infant Family Specialist through First 3 Years, Infant Mental Health Association and was a parent coach for the Infant Toddler drug court in Harris County.
I love to traveling, hiking, photography, calligraphy, reading, playing board games, and Words with Friends!
I am excited for a new year as I will be teaching keyboarding and working to support teachers to help our students to BE THE BEST they can be!!! GO CARDS!!!
