To all High Island ISD Parents/Guardians and Staff:
High Island ISD takes the safety of our students, parents/guardians, and staff as our number one priority. Due to the COVID-19, or Coronavirus, High Island ISD will be conducting classes March 16-20 as distance learning classes. There will be NO on-site classes, activities, or practices in a proactive effort to keep students, staff, parents, and the community healthy.
Each Friday we will reassess the situation to determine how long this method of instruction will continue. Every effort will be made to resume normal classes as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and support. Together we will all get through this!
Due to safety concerns about the Covid-19 Virus we will continue distance learning through at least April 3rd. At that time we will evaluate the situation again.
