Chrstopher Loftin

Christopher Loftin is the current principal for High Island Schools. He comes to High Island School District with twenty-six years of administration experience, serving as a principal for twelve years. Mr. Loftin has worked in Santa Fe, Clear Creek, Brazosport, and Texas City ISD’s. He has an additional administrative experience in being Dean of Students and Instruction. 

Mr. Loftin received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Houston in 1997 and a Master of Science in Education in Mid Management from the University of Houston Clear Lake in 2001. Mr. Loftin has taught at many grade levels and has also coached football, basketball, and baseball. He values education and works very closely with teachers and students to ensure their success. 

Mr. Loftin was born in Topeka, Kansas. He has lived in Galveston for the past 33 years and is married to his wife, Camille Termini Loftin, for 32 years. Dr. Loftin is a Physician Assistant and currently works for the VA clinic in Galveston. Dr. Loftin has served as the interim Vice Chair for the UTMB PA department. He has a daughter, Taylor, who graduated from Texas A&M University and is currently a Physician Assistant working for UTMB. His son, Christian, graduated from Texas A&M University with a Construction Science degree. Mr. Loftin enjoys spending time with his family on annual vacations and enjoys a run after a long day.
